One of the best benefits of smoothies is that you can choose ingredients that give your smoothie special powers. It might be hard to get your smoothie to levitate or show you the future, but if you know what ingredients to use, smoothies can support and improve your health.
This mango ginger smoothie recipe is designed to give your digestive system a little boost. Mangoes have lots of fiber and they contain enzymes that help with digestion. Ginger also helps with digestion and has been used for ages to provide relief from nausea and gas. I use So Delicious unsweetened coconut milk so the smoothie is vegan. It has a mild neutral flavor, unlike canned coconut milk.
